German European School Manila (GESM) and LFM students brought the school year to a fun and whimsical close with a memorable year-end event on Friday, June 23. The event was a collaborative effort between the two schools, showcasing their creativity and camaraderie.
Highlights of the day included a retro-themed costume party, sports tournaments, disco party, and other activities. Awards were given out in various categories, voted on by the students themselves, such as "Best Dressed Students" and "Most Crushable Students." The auditorium transformed into a disco, setting the stage for vibrant musical performances that had everyone on their feet.
Adding to the festivities, a special food stand offered free ice cream and other delectable treats on campus. Alisha from Grade 7D played a significant role in organizing the event, showcasing her leadership skills. Ms. Christina Bärtges was instrumental in making the event a success, and special thanks were extended to the colleagues from the French school for their partnership.
The musical year-end event was a testament to the students' creativity, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit of the GESM and LFM communities. It was a celebration that marked the end of another successful school year for the Eurocampus.
