It was a sundial afternoon, and I was on my way to pick up my brother from the airport.
I stood outside with a sign saying “cpt. Price”. 10 minutes later I was taking him home.
On the way he Said, hey Garrick you heard about “the purge”
Apparently on that one day all crime is legal, even murder.
I was shocked. When I asked. He said it would happen on October 31st
It was finally the 31st of October when I heard a loud siren.
Then a robotic voice said, warning this is not a test, this is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the annual purge sanctioned by the U.S. government.
Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the purge. All other weapons are restricted.
Government officials of ranking 1p have been granted immunity from the purge and shall not be harmed.
Commencing of the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continues hours.
Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning until 7 am when the purge concludes.

Then the siren starts again
For hours nothing happened. Then all hell broke loose. I could hear gunshots coming from everywhere.
Then I heard doors being kicked down and screams in my own building.

Everyone started chasing me, on the stairs there was another guard.
I tried kicking him but he dodged it and pushed me down. The lady grabbed my katana and stabbed him.
But we couldn’t get the sword back because the others were near.
We made it down. We could see the exit.
We ran towards it. Just then the whole group arrived. We had to fight of each of them they rushed towards me. I grabbed some ones hand and i kicked him into the others. I grabbed his gun and shot every one .
The lady asked how I knew how to fight and shoot like that.
I served in the oil wars I said.
Sargent Garrick I said. Why did you leave she said.
While I was fighting an illegal Russian gas was used by some one on my team.
Everyone thought it was me and I was dishonorably discharged from the army.
But it wasn’t you she asked.
Suddenly she screamed warning me about something behind me, I looked back to see a man wielding a baseball bat. Before I could react everything went black.
After a long time I woke up tied to a chair with the girl tied up in the other end of the room.
A guard was kneeling in front of me.
He said remember the Russian gas?
They found out it was me who used it and not you.
They fired me. And it ruind my reputation.
I almost retired. I could have gotten the pension. I could have had it all.
But you ruined it. Now I will kill you. He said.
I asked who are you. He took of his mask. And I saw…… it was my brother.

You can’t talk me out of this. It’s too late. He pulled out a crate and opened it.
The crate was full of illegal weapons.
He pulled out a gun and looked at it and said the E.E.R- 15 Also known as electric- energy – repulsor. This is a heat seeking bullets that shocks with fifteen thousand volts apon impact for 15 seconds and also blows up spraying tiny shards of metal after 15 seconds. He aimed it at me and and changed the mode to lethal. He activated the gun and it started humming in a low frequency and there where bolts of electricity all over the gun. I looked away and closed my eyes in fear. After one second I heard a loud bang. I was still alive so I looked up and saw that the girl had shot price. She told me that he wasn’t paying attention to her that she maxed to slip out and shot him with one of the guns from the crate.
She untied me. We ran towards the exit and luckily there weren’t any guards. I saw the exit we quickly ran out and hid in a secure location for the night.
