Grade 5 Students Explore the Art of Clay Modelling

Grade 5 students recently experienced an exciting and different art session: clay modelling. For the first time, they had the opportunity to play with and create using natural clay. The focus of the session was on learning the coil technique, which involves making coils of clay and then adding them together to create pots. The students enthusiastically embraced this new medium, crafting a variety of unique and different-shaped pots. This hands-on activity not only sparked their creativity but also provided a fun and educational experience that they will remember for a long time.
