September 21st marks the International Day of Peace. In the Houses of Primary, to further foster friendship among grade levels and sections, the children got busy designing Peace lanterns and weaving their friendship bracelets. Some even gave extra ones they made to their teachers and friends. The children have also been very busy creating their Peace Posters with guidance and inspiration from their Art teachers Frau Corinna Gil and Mrs. Alka Kumar. The Houses chose their top 4 to 5 artwork and from the 23 entries, Six were awarded with 100 points for the message of peace and creativity. Congratulations, Houses! As a bonus, Ms. Sunshine taught everyone the wonderful song "Light a Candle for Peace" where the children sang beautifully and used sign language.
