Funny animal memes in German

Did you know that memes with funny animals are a way to improve your German?

Well, it is - and that's exactly what we did in grade 3i.

First, we learned the names of over 40 animals in German with the help of funny animal photos.

To apply their knowledge, students were asked to choose some of our funny animal slides and add words to each photo, creating an animal meme.

"Kinder, what does your animal say in German? Can you make one or even several animal memes?"

Students replied with an emphatic "Ja" and a few hours later sent me the following artworks.
