As an IB world school, we continue to think of ways as to how our children can develop the IB Learner Profile attributes and GESM values that would help them be caring and responsible global citizens.
Our golden rule? Treat Others The Way You Would Like to be Treated
Last August 29th, English Primary held an assembly to learn/relearn about one value that is so important when you're part of a community: Respect.
The assembly started with some children re-enacting different scenarios on how we can show respect towards people, things and places. The children then worked in groups to create graphic organizers, where they brainstormed on the many ways we can be mindful and respectful towards others. As partners in educating children, we encourage all our parents and guardians to help us continue to hone this value and help our children reflect (at home and in school) about how our words and actions affect other members of the community. We stand as one with the IB Mission Baccalaureate to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. #ResponsibleGlobalCitizens
