Cross-Grade Collaboration and the Collaboration Period

At GESM we believe learning thrives when students meet across boundaries — of language, age, and subject. Our cross-grade collaboration encourages pupils from different sections and language groups to work together on creative, exploratory projects that extend classroom learning and build community.

What is the Collaboration Period?

The Collaboration Period is a structured time when selected students from different year groups are invited to join peers outside their regular classes. During these periods, students form mixed teams and pursue self-chosen projects in areas such as visual arts, performing arts, and science & technology. The goal is to foster creativity, peer learning, and intercultural exchange while allowing students to follow interests that complement the school curriculum.
