Initial Impressions: A Logo Design Project by Grade 6E & 7E

von Santosh Kumar

Designing a logo can be a fun and rewarding exercise for people of all ages. Recently, Grade 6E & 7E students were given the task of creating a logo based on their own name initials. This creative assignment allowed the students to express themselves through design while also learning about the importance of branding and visual communication.

As the students began to work on the task, they had to first consider what elements they wanted to include. They had to think about the shape of their initials, the colors they wanted to use, and the overall style and vibe of their logo. This required them to use their creativity and imagination to come up with something unique and eye-catching.

One of the most interesting aspects of this project was seeing the wide range of designs that the students came up with. Some designs were minimalist and clean, while others were more complex and intricate. Some students used bold, bright colors, while others opted for more muted tones. Regardless of the approach, each student was able to create a logo that reflected their unique personality and style.
