The MSA Moving-Up Ceremony marked an important milestone for our Grade 10 students as they celebrated the successful completion of the Middle Secondary Programme and prepared to begin the next stage of their academic journey. Surrounded by their families, teachers, and classmates, the students gathered to reflect on their achievements and look ahead to the opportunities that await them in Grade 11 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB-1).
The ceremony recognized the hard work, perseverance, and personal growth that students have demonstrated throughout their years in the MSA. As they crossed the stage, each student celebrated not only the completion of an important chapter but also the beginning of a new one that will bring greater academic challenges, personal responsibility, and preparation for university and life beyond school. Throughout the event, students were encouraged to embrace this transition with confidence and curiosity. The move into the upper secondary years represents more than a change in grade level it is an opportunity to deepen their knowledge, develop greater independence, and continue discovering their strengths and aspirations.
The ceremony also served as a meaningful moment of appreciation for the guidance and support of families, teachers, and friends who have accompanied the students throughout their journey. Their encouragement has played an important role in helping each student reach this milestone.
Congratulations to our Grade 10 students on reaching this significant achievement. As they begin their journey into IB-1, we wish them every success as they continue to grow academically, personally, and as members of the GESM community. We look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the years ahead.
