A Standing Ovation for Creativity: School of Rock Takes the Stage

The second Year-End Assembly concluded on a high note with an outstanding performance of School of Rock, presented by students in the Performance Collaboration programme. Bringing together talented performers, musicians, and crew members from Grades 6 to 9, the production was a fitting celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the dedication that had been built throughout the school year.

From the opening number to the final curtain call, the musical captivated the audience with its energy, enthusiasm, and impressive performances. Featuring a live student orchestra, engaging acting, and dynamic musical numbers, the production quickly became a favourite among students, teachers, and families alike. Every scene reflected the countless hours of rehearsal, preparation, and teamwork that went into bringing the production to life.

The success of School of Rock was the result of the collective efforts of all students involved in the Performance Collaboration programme. While the cast confidently brought the story to the stage, the student orchestra played an equally important role, providing the live music that gave the production its distinctive energy and atmosphere.
