GESM Primary launches Shoebox Project

Compassion is one of the five main GESM values, and this is especially true during Christmas time! In December 2021, as we geared up for the return of students on campus, the German and International Section Primary departments launched the Shoebox Project.
Students were asked to find old shoeboxes, fill them up with toys, books and other materials they don’t use at home, so they can be sent to an underprivileged community in the harbor compounds of northern Manila. On top of that, the children also wrote Christmas greeting cards for the children who will receive their presents!
