Who needs an expensive smartphone when they can build their own telephone with a string and two cups? At least not Class 1D. The children took this to heart and promptly built their own cup telephone. A hole in the cup, a string through the middle, and it was almost finished. Finally, just tighten the string properly and the connection between the children was established. Every connection was there, between classmates or all the way to the cafeteria. Although some strong voices wouldn't need a telephone.
