Grade 2 Strengthens Number Skills Through Bingo!
Grade 2 students had fun exploring the number range up to 100 through an exciting game of Bingo! After exploring the new number range, students used number cards and listened carefully as the numbers were called out in German.
Playing in four mixed groups, the students supported each other whenever they were unsure and worked together to recognize and understand the German number words. The activity encouraged careful listening, teamwork, communication, and confidence in using numbers in German.
It was a fun and engaging way to strengthen their number skills and practice German number words while showing our Grade 2 learners that learning can happen through play!
Grade 2 Celebrates Learning Through Science and Creativity!
Grade 2 students celebrated the end of their first Unit of Inquiry with a special Science Food Fest and the presentation of their self-created puppets and characters! During the Food Fest, students explored food and science through hands-on activities, while sharing their learning with others.
As part of their UOI learning, students also created their own puppets and characters and proudly presented them to their classmates. They used their creativity to express what they had learned and practiced speaking confidently in front of others.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the unit, bringing together creativity, communication, collaboration, and learning in a fun and meaningful experience!
