The GESM family is further strengthened by the addition of two more faculty members. Please welcome Ms. Nana Laue and Mr. Michael Cumar!
Nana Laue | German as a Foreign Language (DaF)
Mein Name ist Nana Laue. Ich komme von den Philippinen, aber bin ein paar Jahre in Japan und Deutschland aufgewachsen. Ich studierte Betriebs- und Volkswirtschaftslehre mit Deutsch als Nebenfach an der Ateneo de Manila. Ich dachte, ich wollte für ein großes internationales Unternehmen arbeiten, aber fand heraus, dass meine Leidenschaft das Unterrichten war. Im Jahr 2011 nahm ich an der Deutschlehrerausbildung am Goethe-Institut Bangkok teil und unterrichte seitdem Deutsch und verfeinere meine Fähigkeiten als Lehrerin.
Ich freue mich auf ein bedeutungsvolles und fruchtbares Schuljahr mit meinen neuen Kollegen, neuen Schülern und meiner neuen Schule!
My name is Nana Laue. I come from the Philippines, but I spent parts of my childhood in Japan and Germany. I studied Management and Economics with German as my minor at Ateneo de Manila. Initially I wanted to work for a big international company, but later on found out that teaching was my passion. I attended the teacher training program of Goethe-Institut Bangkok in 2011 and have been teaching German and honing my skills as a teacher ever since.
I look forward to a meaningful and fruitful school year with my new colleagues, new students, and my new school!
Michael Cumar | Chemistry
Hi, I am Mr. Michael Cumar, Filipino and born in the Philippines Land of Salts, Pangasinan. It is a great opportunity to be part of the GESM teaching force. Teaching and sharing my knowledge is my passion. Before becoming a member of GESM, I worked in international schools in Indonesia. I look forward to meeting and learning with new people of diverse cultural backgrounds and nationalities.
