According to the indicated sites, you needed in 2019 the equivalent of around 115,893.06 ₱/ 2000 Euros in Manila to maintain the same standard of life that you can have with 7,000 Singapore Dollar in Singapore (assuming you rent an apartment in both cities).

Please take into consideration the exchange rate. It varies greatly: The Euro has been over 60 Pesos in the past and in 2019 it went down to between 55 and 60 Pesos.

Something similar to the international comparison applies also to locations within Metro Manila herself: In Paranaque, GESM's location, cost of living is lower than in Makati or Ayala Alabang, especially rent. That is why lots of our teachers prefer living in our school Barangay, or neighbouring Barangays like Better Living, Moonwalk, Don Bosco or Merville. Of course, we have staff also living in Makati, BGC, and Alabang, this is up to the individual teacher to decide and depends on their preferences, lifestyle and budget planning.
