To mark the 60th Anniversary of the Élysée Treaty and the 30th Anniversary of Eurocampus Manila, the German European School Manila (GESM) and our partner, Lycée Français de Manille (LFM), held a four-day series of events that culminated in a grand assembly on the campus sports field on January 26, 2023.
After singing the European hymn, and a number of awarding ceremonies, the students formed a giant "30" on the field which eventually changed to "60" with the two stars of the Eurocampus logo. The program was attended by German Embassy Manila Deputy Head of Mission Mrs. Laura Oexle and her French embassy counterpart, Mr. Rémy Tirouttouvarayane. To their delight, the students ended the program by entertaining them with a lively dance number led by GESM teacher Mr. Bisi!
