Plätzchenbacken
Mittlerweile ist alles schwerer als sonst. Doch deswegen lässt sich die DESM nicht aufhalten.
Trotz Corona wollten die Schüler und Lehrer trotzdem das traditionelle Plätzchenbacken durchführen, nur, dass jeder zuhause ist und sie selber backt.
Am Donnerstag und Freitag backten die 1. und 5. Klasse der deutschen Sektion leckere Engelsaugen.
Das sind kleine Kirsch förmige Plätzchen mit Marmelade oder Schokolade als Füllung.
Am Donnerstag bereiteten sie nach der Mittagspause den Teig vor und am Freitag, auch nach der Mittagspause, formten und backten sie ihn, denn der Teig musste eine Nacht im Kühlschrank ruhen.
Bei manchen war der Teig noch hart vom Kühlschrank, doch trotzdem konnten sie auf kreative Weise den Teig zu Kügelchen formen. Nachdem das getan ist, drückten sie Löcher in die Kugeln und löffelten die Marmelade oder Schokolade hinein.
Am Ende wurden die Plätzchen natürlich auch gegessen und haben allen geschmeckt.

These are small cherry shaped cookies with jam or chocolate as a filling. On Thursday, after lunch break, they prepared the dough and on Friday, also after lunch break, they shaped and baked them because the dough had to rest in the refrigerator for one night.
For some, the dough was still hard from the refrigerator, but still they were able to creatively shape the dough into balls. After that was done, they pressed holes in the balls and spooned the jam or chocolate into them. In the end, of course, the cookies were eaten and everyone enjoyed them.
