On 23 May, our school took part in the Deutschlehrerinnen-Tagung (DLT), an important professional development event for German teachers from across the Philippines. The event provided a valuable opportunity to actively contribute to the development of German language teaching while also learning from experienced educators and colleagues from all over the country.

As part of the conference, various workshops were offered focusing on modern and practical approaches to teaching German. Key topics included communicative language learning, the effective use of digital tools in education, and innovative teaching strategies designed to make learning more engaging and student-centered.

Beyond the academic content, the DLT also served as an important platform for exchange between teachers, educational institutions, and partner organizations. This dialogue fostered collaboration and strengthened the shared goal of further developing and enhancing German language education in the country.

For participants, the event was not only professionally enriching but also highly inspiring. The exchange with experienced trainers and fellow educators opened new perspectives and provided valuable ideas for everyday teaching practice.

A sincere thank you goes to the Goethe-Institut Philippines for organizing this successful and enriching professional development event.
