GESM hosted its second University Visit on September 8 as we welcomed Mr. Dilip Padath, Associate Director of Admissions of the Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD), GESM's partner school in the implementation of the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP).
Mr. Padath gave talks in two sessions to an assembled audience of students and teachers in the new GESM library extension. The first was a focus on the importance of creative careers, and the various opportunities that are open for the students in the world of creativity. The second was a presentation of SCAD courses.
The talks, which were hosted formally by Grade 11 students, were received enthusiastically by those in attendance -- especially our own IBCP students currently taking courses directly from SCAD.
More universities and other institutions are expected to drop by the campus throughout the year, so stand by for announcements!
