What a tournament! Under the dedicated leadership of Anthony Oca and Florian Simmelbauer, the GESM girls' volleyball team participated in their first tournament at the British School Manila. The first game against BSM was decisively won by our team with scores of 25:15 and 25:8. The "Girls Team" also won the next two games against Vikings Red and Colegio de Sta. Rosa Makati due to remarkable teamwork. An impressive overall result, considering that the team played together for the first time. At the same time, we had the fewest players of all teams. Keep it up, and we are already looking forward to the semifinals!
GESM's boys' volleyball team also competed this weekend. And while they didn't make it to the next round, they put on a strong performance, having fielded no guest players unlike many of their competitors. We're sure they'll only get better at the next tournament!
