Our creative Grade 7 students have been busy with their abstract art assignments. This week their chore was to create a piece of artwork based on the famous Russian artist, Wassily Kandinsky using “Music and Shapes” as inspiration.
The featured students -- Santino, Sophie and Princess -- were asked to listen to different songs and then to use colors and shapes to express their affection or aversion based on their experience of the music was.
And here's the result of that exercise:
