On Thursday, 28 May, the first and second German classes, together with the preschool group, went on a trip to the Fun Farm. The shared time provided many opportunities for the children to get to know each other better and engage in conversation, making the transition from preschool to primary school in the upcoming school year even smoother and more enjoyable.
At the Fun Farm, a wide range of exciting activities awaited the students. With great enthusiasm, the children zoomed along the zipline, rode across the pond, sat firmly in the saddle of a horse, and enjoyed riding the carabao. Feeding the animals was also a real highlight: cows, geese, sheep, and rabbits were carefully and curiously fed by the children. In addition, they were able to observe peacocks, chickens, and turtles up close.
In this special learning environment, the children were able to apply their newly acquired classroom knowledge in a very practical way. Some students impressively demonstrated what they already knew about cows and their stomachs, enthusiastically explaining it to their classmates. Accompanied by their teachers, the children experienced a varied and educational day full of shared discoveries. The excursion not only expanded their knowledge but also strengthened their sense of community—making it a truly successful day for everyone involved.
