based from text & photos by Tanne Jacometti

GESM's Primary School Art Club, led by Ms. Tanne Jacometti, recently explored dot paintings inspired by New Zealand traditions. The students immersed themselves in this unique art form, known for its cultural significance in New Zealand. Under Ms. Jacometti's guidance, they learned the precision and patience required to create intricate patterns of dots.

This artistic journey not only improved their fine motor skills but also allowed them to appreciate New Zealand's cultural heritage. The students' dot paintings reflected their creativity and dedication, blending tradition with innovation. As they proudly displayed their work, it was evident that the Primary School Art Club continues to provide a platform for young talent to develop.
