In the Grade 9 Advanced German as a Foreign Language class, students are currently working on a creative project titled “Designing My Own Game.” The goal is to deepen their understanding of topics such as describing people, using adjectives, and practicing the past tenses Perfekt and Präteritum — all through play and creativity.

Students are developing their own Kahoot quizzes, board games, and even digital learning games. This approach encourages active language use, teamwork, and a lively, engaging classroom experience.

To wrap up the project, the students will present their games — and, of course, play them together!

At the German European School Manila (GESM), language learning goes beyond the textbook: it’s creative, collaborative, and fun. See how we bring learning to life: book a campus tour today at www.gesm.org/book-a-tour
