GESM Students Participate in AlGeTriS Inter-School Math Competition 2025

On February 14, 2025, four dedicated students from the German European School Manila (GESM) took part in the AlGeTriS Inter-School Math Competition at the Chiang Kai Shek College Auditorium. The participating students were: Dalila (7E), Eason (8E), Aleksandra (9E), Kohwoon (10E).

As their coach, I had the privilege of accompanying these students alongside my colleague, Mr. Jakeson Bermundo. Each student approached the competition with enthusiasm and dedication, reflecting their commitment to mathematical learning. Their participation was acknowledged with certificates, highlighting their efforts and perseverance.

The competition provided a platform for our students to engage with peers from various schools, encouraging the exchange of ideas and fostering mutual respect. The challenging problems presented allowed them to further develop their problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.

I am grateful for the support from the school administration and the parents, whose encouragement played a significant role in facilitating this experience. This event has been a valuable opportunity for our students to grow academically and personally.
