GESM U-19 Basketball Concludes MISAA Season With Valiant Effort

On Saturday April 25^th, GESM’s basketball team signed off on their Manila International School Athletics Association season with a game at held at the Beacon School court. This game featured eleven youthful and spirited players that put their best GESM foot forward in the Under-19 “Battle for Third” place game against Singapore School Manila.  Falling behind by nearly twenty points to a deep and strong SSM squad, the GESM boys fought back to cut the lead to only 12 midway through the fourth quarter. However, the SSM squad proved to be too formidable an opponent and prevailed by a final score of 68-54.

This was our U-19 age division debut season in MISAA competition. The game closed out our 2025-2026 campaign with the boys amassing a solid final record of 5 wins and 3 losses.

Representing GESM were: Santi A. (7E), JJ K. (7E), Raden H. (7E); Bogdan L. (8E), Nilabh S. (8E);  San Y. (9E), Sebastian L. (9E), Maceo B. (9E), Mohammed S. (9E) and Mateo A. (11).  

With many promising moments this year, we look forward to next school year where our momentum and experience are bound to pay dividends.  Coach Stephany and Coach Troyer wish to thank everyone that attended games and supported our basketball program this school year. It is greatly appreciated!
