Grade 10 Students Celebrate Milestone at Moving Up Ceremony

On June 21, the German European School Manila (GESM) proudly celebrated its Grade 10 Moving Up Ceremony, held in the elegant showrooms of Fashion Interiors in Makati City. The event honored students from Grade 10E and Grade 10D, who recently completed major academic milestones.

Grade 10E students had just concluded their IGCSE examinations, while Grade 10D students completed the requirements for the German “Mittlerer Schulabschluss” (MSA). Surrounded by proud parents and teachers, both groups were recognized for their efforts and achievements during this significant phase of their academic journey.

Students received their Grade 10 certificates issued by the school, symbolizing their completion of lower & upper secondary education (for the English section), or "Sekundarstufe I" (German section). The official IGCSE and MSA certificates -- issued by Pearson and the KMK respectively -- will follow later.

The ceremony was a heartfelt moment of reflection, gratitude, and celebration, as students now prepare to transition into upper secondary programs and take the next steps toward their future goals.
