Grade 4 PYP Assembly: Making Healthy Choices

The Grade 4E classes of GESM opened the school year with an engaging and meaningful Primary Years Programme (PYP) assembly centered on the theme “The choices people make can affect their health and wellbeing.”
As the culmination of their first Unit of Inquiry, the students presented what they had learned about health, exercise, and wellbeing through a lively program of musical and theatrical performances. On stage, they shared how everyday habits, from staying active to making balanced food choices, can help people live healthier lives.
Parents were invited to watch and were treated not only to entertaining performances, but also to wonderful moments that showed how their children are growing as learners. Throughout the program, students demonstrated responsibility and teamwork: taking turns with the microphone, helping classmates who forgot their lines, and encouraging one another along the way.
The event was a true reflection of the PYP spirit: learning through action, cooperation, and reflection. Congratulations to Grade 4 for a successful start to the school year and for reminding everyone that good choices lead to good health!
