Grade 4D Brings History to Life for German Unity Day

Earlier this month, our Grade 4D students marked German Unity Day in a creative and memorable way: by producing their very own stop-motion film about the story of the Berlin Wall.
Using handmade props, Legos, and toys from their classroom, the students took charge of every step: writing the script, designing props, planning scenes, and filming each moment with patience and teamwork. They even collaborated digitally, sharing files, planning their scripts, and organizing prop lists online — gaining valuable experience in communication and technology along the way.
The result was a wonderful example of creativity, cooperation, and curiosity: a reminder that history truly comes alive when young minds work together. Congratulations to Grade 4D for their imagination, collaboration, and growing digital skills!
At the German European School Manila (GESM), learning goes beyond the classroom — where curiosity meets creativity and collaboration.
