Grade 9D impressively records Goethe's "Erlkönig" in German class

As part of their German lessons, Grade 9D at the German European School Manila (GESM) has completed a remarkable project: the students impressively performed and recorded Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's famous ballad "Erlkönig" in a dramatic reading.

By setting this literary classic to music, the students creatively deepened their understanding of the text. They accurately immersed themselves in the different roles of the speakers, modulating their voices to reflect the emotions of the characters appropriately.

This project once again demonstrates how creative teaching can spark enthusiasm for classical literature and enhance comprehension of complex texts. Enjoy listening!
