On May 23, 2025, students gathered for an engaging assembly focused on how living things grow and change throughout their lives. In preparation, they spent time researching, experimenting, and exploring topics like life cycles, personal development, and our relationship with nature.

The assembly began with the idea that all living things—especially humans—go through different life stages, from birth to old age. Students also learned how scientists classify living organisms into groups called kingdoms, helping us understand the diversity of life on Earth.

Two classes showcased their work: Grade 2D presented the life cycle of a butterfly, showing its transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. Grade 2E reflected on how they’ve changed since babyhood and performed a skit of The Giving Tree, reminding everyone of our connection to and responsibility for the natural world.

Thanks to the students’ curiosity and hard work, the assembly was both educational and inspiring—highlighting the beauty of growth and change in all living things.
