Our Grade 5 English Section students recently showcased their entrepreneurial spirit through an exciting business planning project. As part of the activity, students worked in groups to develop and refine their business ideas, which were first presented to Mrs. Buck for feedback and further polishing.
The class was represented by two groups of young Business Managers: Trevor and Enrico from the Origami Group, and Eitan, Myra, and Mika from the Kraft Group. Their goal was not just to design and produce creative products, but also to raise funds for their class in preparation for future school trips.
With careful planning and teamwork, the students prepared their business proposals and presented them to the Head of School and Head of Administration. The highlight of the session was when Mr. Ross and Mr. Frank challenged them with tough Math questions on percentages and division. To everyone’s pride, the students answered with confidence and accuracy, earning them the official approval to sell their products at the Welcome BBQ Event.
This project was more than just about business. It was about developing real-world skills and working collaboratively. Well done to our Grade 5A and 5B students for being thinkers, risk-takers, and amazing communicators!
