MISAA Volleyball Division 1 2nd Runner-up GESM Boys Team

The MISAA Volleyball Division 1 tournament took place on 9 May 2026, bringing together strong school teams from across the league for a full day of competitive volleyball.

The German European School Manila Boys Team entered the competition ready to test themselves against high-level opposition. From the early matches, the team showed good energy and a clear sense of cohesion on court. While there were challenging moments throughout the day, the players stayed engaged, communicated well, and continued to push through each set. As the tournament progressed, the team found their rhythm in key moments, with improved coordination in both attack and defense. Their ability to regroup between points and stay focused during longer rallies made a noticeable difference, especially in tighter games where small details mattered.

By the end of the competition, the team finished as 2nd Runner-up in Division 1. It was a solid result in a competitive field, and one that reflected the group’s consistency and effort across the day rather than any single match. More importantly, the tournament gave the players another chance to experience high-pressure situations, build confidence, and continue developing as a team. These kinds of events remain an important part of their growth, both individually and collectively.
