GESM's U-19 Basketball team wins third straight!

On Saturday February March 14th, GESM’s Basketball team continued their Manila International School Athletics Association season with another fine showing. Facing off this time against Nord Anglia at the Beacon School court, seven spirited GESM boys jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Solid defense and timely scoring saw the team secure the win by a margin of 59-38.

Leading all scorers with another 30 plus point game was Mateo A. (Gr. 11). Also lacing up their shoes to represent GESM were Santi A. (7E), San (9E), Iago A. (9E), Sebastian L. (9E), Mohammed S. (9E) and Maceo B. (9E).

No more games are scheduled until after the April break. With the win, the boys are assured a spot in the semi-finals on April 18th. The finals and “Battle for 3rd” are slated for April 25th to see which school is crowned 2026 MISAA champions. No matter what happens we are truly proud of what the boys have been able to accomplish this season.
