Professional Development on Understanding Behavior

The English Primary and ANP teams recently had the privilege of engaging in a short but meaningful professional development session centered on Understanding Behavior. We were delighted to welcome Ms. Genie David, an external expert from Team Works, who provided us with a valuable refresher on strategies for managing student behavior and fostering positive learning environments.

As part of the session, I also had the opportunity to share insights from our Additional Needs Program (ANP), including student profiles that highlight the unique strengths and areas of support of some of our learners. This collaboration gave teachers a clearer understanding of how to tailor approaches that respond to both academic and behavioral needs.

What stood out to me was how powerful it is when expertise is shared and aligned. By working together - teachers, specialists, and external partners, we are better equipped to create inclusive, supportive, and nurturing classrooms where every child can thrive. This session was a strong reminder that teamwork is at the heart of meaningful progress for our students.
