An exciting reading night for Grade 1D and 2D

What an adventure! Grade 1D and 2D spent an wonderful reading night together at school. There was great excitement even as the children were setting up their sleeping areas – after all, it’s not every day you get to sleep at school!  

The evening began with a thrilling reading rally that took them all the way through the school building. Along the way, the children had to complete various fun reading and football world cup-related tasks. Afterwards, the shared pizza as dinner tasted especially delicious, of course. 

One of the highlights of the evening was the children presenting their favourite books they brought from home. They shared their stories, exchanged books and discovered many new titles. After that, everyone settled down for some cosy reading time together.  

The excitement continued with a night walk, during which the children bravely made their way through the darkness. To finish off, the class teachers read a story to the children to help them fall asleep. Filled with wonderful memories, exciting stories, and lots of (reading) fun, the Reading Night became an unforgettable experience for all the children in Grade 1D and 2D!
