GESM Primary School Costume Show
On Friday, 30 October 2026, the Primary School at German European School Manila (GESM) celebrated the final day of Spirit Week with a Halloween Costume Runway, giving students the opportunity to show off their costumes and take part in a friendly competition.
After a week of themed activities, students arrived at school dressed as a variety of characters, from familiar favourites to spooky Halloween figures. The runway gave each participant a chance to present their costume in front of their fellow students and teachers, with plenty of creativity and imagination on display.
As part of the celebration, students also had the chance to compete for the best costume, with the most outstanding outfits receiving recognition. Whether their costumes were funny, frightening or imaginative, the participants brought their own personalities to the runway.
The event provided an opportunity for students to enjoy the creativity of their classmates and celebrate together outside their usual classroom activities. It also encouraged students to express themselves, take part in a shared school activity and build confidence in front of an audience.
The Primary Costume Runway brought the annual Spirit Week to a close, rounding off a week of themed activities with a Halloween celebration ahead of 31 October.
A special thank you to the GEB for helping with the decorations and planning the activities that made the Halloween celebration possible.
