The Cinematics Club -- a project by Grade 11 student Zoe for her CAS requirement -- is excited to announce the release of their first short film, "Where Time Slows".
The short film was screened for the first time on December 17, the last school day of the calendar year. It featured the acting performances of several GESM students from different grade levels.
"Where Time Slows" explores the theme of being constantly rushed, reminiscent of chasing the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. The narrative follows the main character, Vivaan, who feels overwhelmed by the relentless pressure of time, symbolized by "the ticking clock." Through the support of his friends, Vivaan learns to slow down and appreciate the small, meaningful moments in life.
This film captures the essence of the holiday spirit and conveys an important message about mindfulness and the value of taking time to enjoy life. We encourage everyone to watch the film and reflect on its inspiring themes!
