Eurocampus Grades 3–5 Mark the Élysée Treaty Anniversary Through Music

As part of the activities marking the anniversary of the Élysée Treaty, students from Grades 3 to 5 of the German European School Manila (GESM) and the Lycée Français de Manille (LFM) came together for a joint musical activity.

The students gathered in the Aula, where they were welcomed by the music teachers of both schools, supported by several older students holding musical instruments. Together, they worked on learning the European Hymn, singing it in both French and German.

During the rehearsal, GESM students were introduced to French lyrics, while LFM students practiced the German version, allowing both groups to engage with the partner language through music. The session concluded with a continuous performance of the hymn in French and German.

The final rendition was met with enthusiastic applause from the teachers, staff members in attendance, and the students themselves, marking a shared musical moment in the spirit of cooperation and exchange represented by the Élysée Treaty.
