From Caterpillar to Butterfly

With wide eyes and great curiosity, we in class 2D have been following the transformation of tiny caterpillars into colorful butterflies over the past few weeks. It all began with a handful of little caterpillars that we observed and cared for together. With some patience, we were able to witness the exciting moment when they slowly formed their chrysalises.
After a few days in their cocoons, the time finally came: the first butterflies emerged! They carefully unfolded their wings and took flight for the very first time. We learned a lot about the different stages of development—from egg-laying, through the caterpillar phase, to their transformation into beautiful butterflies.
To wrap it all up, we released our little guests into the wild. It was a wonderful experience that we won’t forget anytime soon!
