To coincide with German Unity Day, the children from the kindergarten and preschool were allowed to participate in a small rally at the end of the week centered around the theme of Germany. At the beginning, Mr. Pfaffernoschke, the German ambassador, gave a brief speech and warmly welcomed us and the entire elementary school. Following that, we could start with our stations right away. The four different stations consisted of various craft activities related to the colors of the German flag. The children had a lot of fun with the different materials and this extraordinary day. After these exciting activities, they also had some time to play in our group rooms and on the playground.
