On May 23 at 6 pm, the German European School Manila (GESM) proudly held its Grade 12 graduation ceremony at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City. A total of 26 students successfully completed all requirements for Grade 12, marking an important milestone in their academic journey.
The ceremony was a memorable occasion that brought together students, teachers, parents, and school leadership to celebrate this achievement. Attendees eagerly await the upcoming release of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Career-related Programme (CP) exam results, which will officially conclude the graduating class’s academic accomplishments.
A special highlight of the event was the introduction of six new awards honoring students who exemplify the IB Approaches to Learning skills. These awards recognize outstanding qualities such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded learners.
In addition to student recognitions, the ceremony paid tribute to long-time families who have been part of the GESM community over the years, acknowledging their continued support and involvement.
The program featured an inspirational speech by the German Ambassador to Manila, Dr. Andreas Michael Pfaffernoschke, whose words resonated deeply with graduates and guests alike. A message from the school board further emphasized the pride and hopes held for the Class of 2025.
The heartfelt speeches and shared moments left students, teachers, and parents moved, marking the evening as a meaningful and joyous celebration of growth, achievement, and new beginnings.
