GESM celebrates Women's Month with Phil Reclamation Authority

Last Saturday, March 7 GESM participated in the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) led by the Philippine Reclamation Authority and the City of Parañaque, hosting our booth at the Ultimate Power Catch Up ni Juana.

During the event, the GESM collaboration group of secondary level, showcased wonderful performances. The first to perform was the Popband group, members of which are Grade 9E students Pablo J., Robin B., Lincoln B., and Brandon F. They performed three songs, and hyped up the crowd despite the intense temperature of the morning. Carrying on the atmosphere came the dancers onto the stage, Pietro O. (9E), Adinda W. (7E), Mariia I. (8D), Anakristina J. (7E), and Himari M. (6E) performing two songs, Cupid and Jellyous.

The next to go was our CAS coordinator and members of Grades 11-12 including: Asha C., Saimeera D., Kohwoon S., Kathe F., Nelson C. and Kai M., who delivered speeches of their personal experiences in GESM regarding gender equality and women empowerment. The speeches emphasized equal opportunities whether in science or sports, growing up together as students of GESM with a strong sense of unity and equality. Finally, Mr. Veith-Alexander Böttcher, Head of German Primary and acting Head of School while Mr. Krstovic and Mr. Ferrandon are in Germany, came up to express sincere gratitude for the invitation to the event.

We, GESM, are truly honored to have been part of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration and to stand alongside organizations and communities that continue to advocate for gender equality and empowerment. We look forward to continuing to grow with this empowerment and to further spreading a more inclusive and equal society for everyone.
