GESM Secures Approval of New School Model

The GESM community has reached an important milestone in its school development. The new school structure, which was approved by an overwhelming majority of the School Association’s members and supported by the German Embassy in Manila, has now also been officially confirmed by the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.

With this formal confirmation, GESM’s position within the network of German schools abroad is further secured. This marks the successful completion of a shared goal for the school community.

The relevant agreement was signed in Berlin in late April 2026 by the Chair of the Board of Directors, Christian von Strombeck, during a private visit to Germany, in the presence of Ms. Siyana Dimitrova from the German Foreign Ministry.

Mit diesem formalen Schritt blickt die DESM nun auf die Umsetzung der neuen Struktur. Die Schule dankt allen Beteiligten, die zu diesem Prozess beigetragen haben, und freut sich auf die weitere Zusammenarbeit bei der Ausgestaltung der Pläne und Konzepte.
