GESM Students Take Part in Gymnastics Competition in Muntinlupa City

Two students from German European School Manila (GESM) recently took part in a gymnastics competition in Muntinlupa City, joining young gymnasts from various clubs to demonstrate their skills and gain experience in a competitive setting.
Both students train with Tumble Icon Academy, which also offers gymnastics lessons through GESM's extracurricular club programme. Competing as members of the academy, they had the opportunity to put their training into practice alongside other young athletes, with one of the students achieving 8th place in their category.
Gymnastics requires strength, flexibility, coordination and discipline, skills that students develop through consistent practice and training. Competitions such as this allow young gymnasts to challenge themselves, build confidence and experience performing in front of judges.
At GESM, extracurricular clubs provide students with opportunities to discover new interests and further develop their existing skills. Through programmes offered by partners such as Tumble Icon Academy, students can explore activities that may also lead to experiences and opportunities beyond the school campus.
The participation of these two students shows how interests developed through extracurricular activities can continue to grow outside the classroom. Their experience in Muntinlupa City marks another step in their gymnastics journey, giving them the opportunity to learn, improve and work towards future competitions.
