Our Berlin audiovisual room was transformed into a vibrant hub of intellectual curiosity on Monday, 30th March, as the Grade 12 cohort hosted the inaugural IB Core Exhibit. This milestone event served as a sophisticated platform for our graduating students to showcase the fruits of their labour, marking a period of significant personal and academic growth.

IBDP Grade 12 students engaged in spirited discussions with eager and inquisitive peers from Grades 9, 10, and 11. The seniors presented their diverse CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) projects ranging from local community initiatives to ambitious creative endeavours alongside their thought-provoking Theory of Knowledge (TOK) objects and essays. The sessions regarding the Extended Essay (EE) proved particularly insightful, as the graduating batch shared their unique research journeys, offering practical advice and encouragement to those who will soon follow in their footsteps.

In a touching display of community spirit, the Grade 12 students also organised a delightful spread of food for the school's non-teaching staff. This gesture was a heartfelt thank you to the administrative and maintenance teams whose steadfast support has been instrumental in the success of every student-led event over the past two years.

For the graduating batch, the day was one of both joyous celebration and poignant reflection. Recognising the immense value of such an exchange, the IBDP Core Teaching Team has confirmed their intention to establish the Core Exhibit as a permanent annual fixture in the school calendar.
