Information Evening: Educational Trip to Germany 2026

On the evening of October 7, the German European School Manila (GESM) hosted an online Information Evening for parents about the upcoming Educational Trip to Germany, scheduled for March 28 to April 12, 2026.

The trip, organized in partnership with the Humboldt-Institut, will take place in Bad Schussenried, where participating students will stay at an Internat (boarding school) and take part in German language classes, cultural excursions, and various outdoor activities.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Julio Sendra, the main teacher-organizer of the trip. Joining him were two Grade 12 students, Mia S. and Mikhail I., who participated in last school year’s program and shared stories from their experience. Mr. Volker Ross, GESM’s Head of Administration, also presented details about the trip costs and what they include.

The evening aimed to give parents a clear picture of what their children can look forward to,

from improving their German skills to discovering new places, cultures, and friendships. The registration deadline for interested families is October 24.
