Learning English with Movement

The 1st and 2nd-graders of the German section primary always have lots of movement in English class. After learning action words, body parts, and school items, the two classes were given balls with words from Ms. Rain that they had to throw in different ways into three different boxes. Each box had its own category: action words, body parts, and school items. The balls had to be caught first and then find their way into the correct box. The challenge was that the kids had to hop on one leg, walk backwards, or jump as a frog. That was a lot of fun!
