Meeting the old me - The Time Capsule

by Korbinian Hook

Imagine you are holding an envelope in your hands. On this envelope is your name - in your own handwriting. You had completely forgotten that you had written this letter at that time: to yourself! Excitedly, you open this mail from your past and...

This is exactly what the children of the third and fourth grade will experience at the end of the school year, some even a little later. As part of their ethics class, they filled a time capsule to capture the present moment with all of their feelings. They completed the time capsule by writing a personal letter to themselves in the future. The children sealed the letter with the date when it may be opened and wait anxiously for the day to come. I wonder what surprise will turn up then?
