Memorandum of Agreement LFM and GESM

On 27 May, the Eurocampus community marked a significant milestone with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the Lycée Français de Manille (LFM) and the German European School Manila (GESM). This renewed agreement reaffirms the long-standing commitment of both institutions to deepen collaboration, strengthen shared educational programmes, and continue fostering the wellbeing, academic growth, and holistic development of every student within the Eurocampus community. The signing ceremony was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests of honour, including Her Excellency Marie Fontanel, Ambassador of France to the Philippines, and His Excellency Dr. Andreas Michael Pfaffernoschke, Ambassador of Germany to the Philippines. They were joined by Ms. Mathilde Séjourné and Dr. Pia Friedrich from their respective embassies, whose presence highlighted the strong diplomatic ties and continued support for the partnership between LFM and GESM. Their attendance underscored the importance of international cooperation in sustaining and enriching the Eurocampus educational model.
The event also gathered the boards and senior leadership teams of both LFM and GESM, reflecting the unity and shared vision that underpin the Eurocampus partnership. Among those present were Mr. Philippe Gauthier, Mr. Thomas De La Loge, Mr. Christian von Strombeck, Mr. Aleksandar Krstovic, Mr. Julien Ferrandon, Mr. Nicolas Bois, Mr. Volker Ross, Mr. Cédric Lepaysan, Ms. Laureen Jue, Ms. Antonia Juliano, Mr. Torben Bohn, Mr. Ryan Smith, and Attorney Ana Maria Katigbak. Their collective presence highlighted the depth of cooperation, trust, and mutual respect that continues to guide both institutions in their shared mission. Beyond the formal signing, the occasion served as a meaningful reminder of the value of partnership in education.
